Gents I think its about time we had a club social/pub crawl like Ginge and Persil's stag do! There are some new faces at the club and some old ones who have been away for a bit so I think it would be good fun to do the teams of 5 and frequent the club and then every pub in the old town with anyone still standing/allowed out past 11 to venture on somewhere (shame stages is shut!). When I first started playing senior rugby you couldnt move in the Elephant or Kings Arms for 1st 2nd and 3rd team players and we seem to have lost this a bit. Not that I would ever be one to be out on the p#$s (and never on a Friday Jules )but if people are keen we could set a date when a few teams are playing at home, or could do it as a follow on from the Wanderers game? Anyone up for it? Any suggestions for themes or rules? |
