I would particularly like to thank Sue Riley for accommodating two of them at Riley Towers; all those who attended the fund-raising welcome dinner on Thursday; all those who donated to the Romanian beer fund; Eric P-B for providing transport to Wasps; Dave Larham for arranging discounted tickets at Wasps; all our players who beat them on Saturday morning and the referee, Peter Dickinson; Nick Morrison for drinking with them until 2am on Friday night! Many thanks to all. Sayings of the trip: 1) Octavian (their huge ex-international prop): "Tonight Chris, we drink. Tomorrow, I break your legs!" 2) John Slade: "This palinka goes straight to my plonker!" Chris Smith President
