Danny is undoubtedly a berk for his behaviour and deserves a bollocking. BUT picking Balshaw again! There are 4-5 full backs in better form than Ballsup! The jocks will be laughing their kilts off as they practice their garryowens. Oh lordy! |

A berk! Read the background. He was sober and popped into the nightclub for 30 mins or so to give his mates some England tickets. Did Ashton even bother to look into the circumstances before making this decision?? I'm gutted as have been looking forward to him playing (and getting rid of Balshaw) for a while. Ashton is the berk. I've lost all respect for him now. I now see what Dallagio and Catt were on about when they criticised Ashton's people management. I think this decision will just push him further away from the england players. As bad as it sounds I half want England to loose on Saturday thanks to more Balshaw blunders so that he regrets his stupidity and is one step closer to being fired! I for one wont be watching on Saturday (ok this is because I'll be on a flight but now at least I'm no longer bothered about missing the game). |

Having seen more coverage of the alleged misbehaviour it does seem that Coco has over-reacted and that Danny's crime was naivety. However, it was ill-advised and he's paying the price. Balshaw's last game coming up, hopefully. |

I agree Mikey, totally absurd decision by Ashton. Cips had a day off anyway, and was only dropping off tickets for the game. Ashton must have been so desperate to get his teacher's pet Iain Bullsh*t back into the starting lineup - Ashton must face some sort of repercussions from this...  |

I recon balshaw must have some incriminating photos of Ashton hence he is blackmailing him to stay in the side! I can think of no other reason! Silent you know what to do  |

Balshaw was actually planning to go out drinking as well but he ended up in a cocktail bar. Someone bought him a Highball and he couldn't get near it all evening |
