It is with great sadness that I pass on the news of Jeannie's death. She bravely fought cancer for many months and finally lost the fight in the early hours this morning. Her husband, Howard, was by her side. As a member of our club, Jeannie was a regular supporter of 1st XV home matches and for many years organised a fantastic buffet for our 1st XV match day sponsors.

On behalf of our club, I hope that you will join me in sending our heartfelt sympathy to Howard, Sam, Tom, Amelia and Ali. She was a lovely lady.

The bravery and fortitude with which Jeannie fought her illness is a lesson to us all.
Jeannie provided the buffets in the sponsor`s lounge for over 10 years; these were feted for their excellence and helped us to create a real occasion on home League match days.
She was a beautiful and kind lady and she will be greatly missed.
Our sympathy and thoughts are with Howard, Sam and Tom during this sad time.
A minute`s silence will be held in memory of Jeannie at the Supporters Lunch on Dec. 15th.
