Sunday 16th March was a great day for junior Rugby at Amersham & Chiltern.
Our under 15 and under 16 teams BOTH won their Bucks Cup finals at a wet and windy Slough RFC. The U15s beat Buckingham and the U 16s beat Bletchley. both teams played excellent rugby and showed the rest of the County how to win cups !

Congratulations to all the players and special thanks to the Coaches and Management teams . Thanks also to all the parents who braved the wild conditions to give superb support to the boys. The Club is proud of you all.

Thanks Chris - The Under 16s have played in five cup finals - winning as U12 & U13 - being second to Marlow at U14 & U15 - so the win at U16 is very rewarding

Congratulations to the whole squad on an awesome performance to win the Bucks Cup 10-5 today. We said before the game we would need to be every bit as good as we were in the Marlow semi-final to win the Cup and without exception every player played his part in just such a performance against a good and spirited Bletchley side.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to support the team, including several squad members who were not involved in the game – We are sure the boys appreciate the support they receive from parents and others.

The boys have done the coaches, the parents and, most importantly, themselves proud and are worthy winners of the Cup.

“Amersham & Chiltern U16s - Bucks Cup Winners 2007-08” sounds good, doesn’t it?

We also need to represent the feelings of everyone associated with A &C U16s when we say what a brilliant job Jonathan Moughton has done (are doing) in bringing out the best in our players, instilling the values of team and of collective discipline.

We saw the fruits of this at Slough.

I don't think I've seen a better, more intense, more committed performance from our boys than yesterday's.
