Under 6/7's
Sunday 23 November
Thank you very much for all those that turned up at Saracens and Maidenhead last weekend.
At the Saracens tournament we narrowly missed out an opportunity in playing in the final but managed to come 3rd overall. At Maidenhead, we had a slow start but once we got going there was some really good performances all round in friendly matches. Well done to everyone, and thanks to all the parents who helped at each venue.
This weekend we travel to Old Albanians (last away fixture before Xmas) for a training fixture. The link below gives you directions on how to find the club which is on the road between St Albans and Harpenden. If we can meet at 9.45am for a 10.00am start that would be great. The morning should be over by 12.00.

We believe that these joint sessions are valuable for the development of the kids. In these sessions, they mix up their training a little, thereby making it hopefully more more interesting, and it gradually introduces a small element of competition without the need for results/trophies/awards. We are acutely aware that this will be the third week in a row of 'away' weekends and that this requires a fair commitment on behalf of you, the parents. This is something we will try and address for next season.
That all said, this is the last 'away' fixture now until the beginning of February, so we hope as many of the Under7s as possible can make it.
We do please ask that you let us know of your child's availability for this weekend, as these sessions do require some degree of planning (beyond a pint in the pub) with our own coaches, and more importantly with the host club as well.
Thanks for your support, and look forward to seeing you this weekend
Kind regards
Gareth and Sharkey
